Role
The Broker, Private Client Services is responsible for the servicing and management of High-Net-Worth personal insurance clients. Providing expert advice, tailored coverage solutions and exceptional client service while supporting retention and organic growth of the book of business. This position will build strong, trust-based relationships and ensure accurate, timely processing of client needs from policy inception to renewal.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver knowledgeable, responsive service to a portfolio of retail and high-net-worth personal lines clients, addressing day-to-day inquiries and coverage needs
- Prepare and present customized insurance proposals, renewal reviews, and new business quotations with attention to detail and client-specific risk profiles
- Conduct proactive annual renewal reviews and ensure timely, accurate processing of endorsements and documentation
- Clearly and concisely communicate complex, detailed information to ensure client understanding and support informed decision-making
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through trust, discretion, and consistent delivery of high-touch service
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements with insurers to meet client needs and secure favourable outcomes
- Collaborate with other brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of service across the client lifecycle
- Support cross-sell and up-sell initiatives, identifying opportunities to expand coverage and improve client protection
- Guide clients through the claims process, acting as an advocate and providing advice on loss mitigation
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within the broker management system in line with compliance and audit standards
- Ensure all client communications are professional, timely, and aligned with internal service standards
- Stay current on market trends, insurer offerings, and underwriting guidelines relevant to high-net-worth clientele
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and Personal Lines insurance, with direct exposure to high-net-worth clientele
- RIBO license
- Strong understanding of high-net-worth personal insurance markets, products, and risk profiles
- Experience working with high-net-worth insurers and MGAs
- Proficient in insurance management system and insurance portals such as Applied EPIC, Chubb, Intact, Aviva, Economical and Northbridge
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Compu-Quote and Microsoft Office Tools
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a client-focused mindset
