Role
The Client Executive, Transportation, Waste & Recycling (TWR) will lead a service team and work closely with the National Practice Leader on strategy for clients in the Transportation, Waste and Recycling industry sector.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the development and execution of the PRL Transportation, Waste and Recycling business strategy
- Working closely with a service team to evaluate clients’ insurance requirements by analyzing their operations, risk exposures and coverage needs
- Identify and approach suitable insurance carriers, presenting clients’ profiles to obtain competitive quotes tailored to their specific industry risks
- Provide clients with risk management advice, including recommendations on coverage options and policy limits
- Facilitate the placement of insurance policies, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complies with regulatory standards
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, carriers and other stakeholders to ensure ongoing satisfaction and address any emerging needs
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes within the Transportation, Waste and Recycling industry to provide informed advice to clients
Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or experience equivalent would be an asset
- 5-8 years of experience in insurance brokerage; focus on Transportation, Waste and Recycling industry sector would be an asset
- Licensed as Insurance Broker with RIBO
- Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB), Risk Management Certificate (CRM) and/or Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation are assets
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products
- Strong analytical and negotiating skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple clients, policies and priorities effectively

Purves Redmond Limited is committed to fair and transparent compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $140,000–$155,000. This range reflects the expected hiring range for the position and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit. Additional compensation, where applicable, may include performance-based incentives, commissions, or bonuses.
