Role Description

The key functions and responsibilities of this position are:

• Develop, implement, and maintain data quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency within Applied EPIC systems, related datasets and compliance protocols;
• Conduct thorough monthly analysis of Applied EPIC data to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement;
• Document data quality issues, findings, and resolutions in a clear and comprehensive manner;
• Work closely with various business units and compliance team to address data quality challenges and reinforce best practices;
• Continuously evaluate and enhance data quality assurance processes and workflows to streamline and improve efficiency;
• Develop and maintain training and workflow documents to support training requirements;
• Provide audit and compliance support for the broker licensing function for the firm;
• Conduct comprehensive file reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies;
• Deliver one-on-one or group in-person training sessions based on audit findings and provide ongoing support and coaching to employees to reinforce learning outcomes and address individual development needs;
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes, generating reports and analytics to track progress and demonstrate the impact of training initiatives on business performance.

The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:

• College, University degree or specialized education in data analysis or information technology and professional training;
• Proven experience (3+ years) in data quality analysis, or a similar role within the P&C insurance industry;
• High skilled and proficient in Applied EPIC systems;
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences;
• Strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and processes;
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
