[Toronto, ON] Purves Redmond Limited (“PRL”) is pleased to announce that effective March 7, 2022, Mark Johnstone will join PRL as National Risk Management Leader, based in Toronto.
Mark will work with client executives and service teams in the development and execution of risk management strategies and related insurance programs for both existing and prospective clients. Mark’s focus will be across all industry groups on a national scale and he will represent PRL as senior liaison to the risk management community. He will also be active in the identification, recruitment, mentoring and development of talent for PRL.
For the past decade Mark has been the Director, Global Insurance for Barrick Gold Corporation. Barrick Gold is a leading gold and copper producer with operations in North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. Prior to joining Barrick Gold, he spent 14 years at Marsh in their Mining and Power group.
