[Toronto, ON] Purves Redmond Limited (“PRL”) is pleased to welcome Matt (Mato) Dugalic to Team PRL on February 1st, 2023 as Senior Risk Consultant, Risk Consulting Practice.
Matt is a seasoned engineering and risk professional, with over 30 years of international engineering and risk consulting experience in serving heavy industries. Since 2008, Matt worked at Marsh Canada and has focused his attention on the mining industry where, as a Senior Machinery Breakdown Risk Consultant and a Registered Insurance Broker, he has provided customized risk consulting services to clients at international operations across six continents. In addition to risk management and consulting, Matt’s rich international career includes direct maintenance management experience at the two major global mining operations, engineering risk management for jurisdictional regulators and deep expertise in equipment condition monitoring and non-destructive testing.

Matt is a registered engineer in the province of Ontario and in Australia, with Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. He is also a Registered Insurance Broker in a number of Canadian jurisdictions, including Ontario and British Columbia, holding the FCIP and RIMS Fellowships.
He is operationally conversant in several languages, which together with his engineering and risk experience uniquely positions him to support complex international industrial clients. He has provided professional advice and risk consulting support to a number of mining, minerals and fertilizer processing and metals smelting operations. He is also familiar with power generation, pulp and paper and (petro)chemical industries.
